Not recommended. We used them for general sanitising eg floors and benches but never inside vessels.

Their advantage is that they work OK in the presence of organic soils but that advantage is moot inside a brewing vessel because of course you have it perfectly clean before you add the sanitiser.

Their disadvantages are the smell and apparently they knock head retention for six. This makes sense as they are basically ammonia bearing detergent but I have no direct experience of it; as above we never used them where they could contact wort or beer.

That's what I was thinking, re the deodorising capability, as stated on the label, even though it also says "non perfumed". My mate who's just starting out in AG has a 20 litre drum of this stuff that he uses in his business, so asked me what I thought.
