With recent distancing laws closing Bars around the country, many of our favourite breweries will be doing it tough. A lot of these guys have mortgaged their homes to get their breweries off the ground, and most will be continuing to be due leasing fees. If we want to see them back up and running they are going to need our support. So this thread is for those breweries. Tell us when your local is open for keg or grouler fills, they have beer and I know you guys wanna drink it. ED: ACB has decided to give Craft Breweries etc a free pass on posting throughout the site during these challenging times. yob lifeasamoose husky niceguys

Nice one Malt Junkie.
The Foragers Drop, Mitcham Victoria.
We will begin growler/mini keg fills over our 20 taps in two weeks on selected days. We want to give space to allow people to isolate effectively for a reasonable amount of time before we go ahead with this.
Great incentive here, appreciate the support

Project Brewing Co in Rowville will be doing growler fills and bottled beer sales this Friday 4-8 and Sat 2-6, after that we will be closed for the foreseeable future.... Available is: Pale Ale and Lager bottles/slabs Growler fills of 15 tap beers 50L kegs of Pale,XPA,Hazy IPA, Hef and a few others 50L kegs of apple cider 1000L kegs of XPA and Vienna Lager........... 300L keg of wet hop harvest ale............
Might be able to do sacks of malt as well, best to drop in and see what we have but there's a fair bit as we were just starting to ramp up production.
Selling basically at cost as we are really just interested in not wasting it and hopefully recover enough $$ to see out another month or rent/rates etc Shitty times, cheers for the support ACB :-)

Yes any craft brewery in Australia, New Zealand can post up about what measures they are doing, their hours delivery models etc.
Members are free to share their locals Facebook posts here.
This is the worst period of life and business most will see.
If your able , please support.

On the SA front, the two I know about are:
EDIT: Pony are filling growlers now - it's on their FB page.
BrewBoys on Regency Rd are doing takeaway or delivery, beer and food (their nuggs are perfect beer food!) between 12-8pm daily. www.facebook.com/Brewboys-161317279371 I'm planning a trip down there on the weekend if they can remain open that long - it's well worth the drive from my place. A couple of their stouts might make up for the mid-strength drinking I heard about on here.

Flat Rock Brew Cafe. 290 Willoughby rd, Naremburn 2065 Growler refills and take away food. Their chicken schnitz are great! I suggests looking at their FB page for beers currently on tap as it changes quite regularly. Also does home deliveries, as I been told! my-site-109994-107639.square.site/

I had a couple of corny keg fills organised with Rocky Ridge for the weekend. A lot of other brewers were offering similar fills.
Can't happen now as the WA state government in it's infinite wisdom has restricted sales to a max of 11.5L per person per day from 10am today.

Half fill just before and then the rest the next day at 12.01.

Yeah I think so. The state has form with this though, seems everyone up north stockpiles whenever there is a cyclone incoming. You would think they could have given an exception for producers. Bottle shops will be fine, the small brewers not so much.

You've got until midnight tonight. You might make it there and back - if you leave now!!! Bugger, too late; I've had a couple of glasses out of my panic bought wine cask hoard. Victoria is poised to close down everything commercial except food stores, chemists and petrol stations so I reckon NSW might be next although Gladys might keep them open by employing the people she allows to flood off cruise ships. I bought another couple of casks today, the pub bottlo is still open then I'll get a few more from Liquorstax in the village, wouldn't want either of them to think I'm a pisshead or anything like that.

If the majors are forced to stop production there's the likelihood that they will have many hectolitres of beer just sitting in cold conditioning tanks for months. When they come back on stream it will be interesting. I remember the beer strike in QLD in the early 80s - this exact thing happened and the first batches of draught XXXX were like holiday in Bavaria. Absolutely golden nectar. Then the new batches followed through and meh as usual.
